MaterialGuide PVA-M

PVA-M (Modified Polyvinyl-alcohol) is a support material for dual extruder 3D printing. It is soluble in cold water. PVA-M is more thermally stable than normal PVA. This modified type bonds perfect to PLA, ABS and PET-G. It is nontoxic and biodegradable in water.
PVA-M can be printed from 190-210° and a heated bed with over 35°C. The cooling fan can operate up to 70%. It is necessary to not exceed a printing temperature over 225°, because the material crystallizes quickly and will not longer flow or dissolve in water. The solubilizing speed depends on the thickness of the printed object and the water temperature.
